An immersion into Sicilian nature and country traditions
In every time of the year, the Sicilian country is fascinating, especially where we will bring you, a little piece of paradise located between Cefalù and Castelbuono, not far from the Tyrrhenian coast.
We will walk among fields, olives trees and above all ash trees, which are still used to produce manna, a very local specialty.
We will stop at our micro-farm and then reach the top of a hill to enjoy fantastic views over the Madonie mountains and all the surrounding country. We will also take the time to observe wildflowers and butterflies, pick some wild edibles or medicinal plants, sow legumes, harvest wheat or even manna together. The activities will vary according to the period of the year.
The excursion can be done in company with a donkey, who will kindly carry bags in return for a few strokes.
